Responsibilities
Design, optimize and perform molecular biology experiments.
Design, optimize and perform gene-editing experiments. Evaluate gene-editing performance.
Invent new gene-editing-related techniques.
Report summarized results in internal and external meetings. Prepare publication- and patent application- related documents.
Train and instruct Gene-editing assistants.
Aid establishment of high-quality gene-editing procedure.
Qualifications
Ph.D. degree with > 6-year experience in molecular biology lab and > 2-year experience in gene-editing or transgenic animal research.
Skilled at molecular cloning, high-throughput genotyping, cell culture, cell transfection and FACS analysis.
Rich experience in different types of gene-editing tools and techniques.
Strong communication skills, strong project management and organization skills
Candidates with transgenic animal construction experience are preferred.
